A close-knit homeschool community rooted in traditional values, academic growth, and hands-on learning.
Our Story
The beauty of homeschooling is the freedom it offers. The freedom to spend meaningful time with family, to build intentional community, to choose our curriculum, and to shape the way we do life. While we all have choices, the "why" behind those choices is unique to each family.
Wildflower Learning Collective was created to bring like-minded families together. To gather those who share a similar "why" and expand that sense of freedom beyond the home. We share a commitment to raising children with strong values, personal responsibility, kindness, grace, grit, and a sense of purpose.
Wildflower Learning Collective is a small, close-knit community where our children can grow up alongside one another, engage in hands-on group learning, develop meaningful relationships, and be accepted and appreciated for who they are. We partner with families who are invested, present, and aligned in building a stable, supportive foundation for their children's growth.
Wildflower is more than a learning space- it's a home away from home.
Why We Started
To preserve the innocence of childhood.
To be intentional about who and what our children are exposed to as they grow into adulthood.
To raise individuals of strong character and high moral standards.
To nurture thinkers and doers- children who ask questions, think critically, and make decisions with clarity and purpose.
To cultivate deep, meaningful friendships where peers can hold each other accountable.
To provide learning through multiple modalities and experiences.
To give our children an education and childhood that is unique, special, and memorable.
What We Offer
We serve children ages 8-12 in a mixed age group setting. Each school year our age group will shift up, allowing our children to continue to learn and grow alongside each other. We feel learning in a mixed-age group can create a powerful learning environment. Instead of holding every child to the exact same developmental standard, a mixed group creates a more natural, flexible system—closer to how people actually learn outside school.
Wildflower Learning Collective families focus on teaching the three core fundamentals at home- reading, writing, and arithmetic. Within our classes, we explore History, Science, Debate, Public Speaking, as well as a variety of electives ranging from Art, Cooking, Foreign Language, and Physical Education.
All History and Science projects include both a hands-on component and a writing component, encouraging students to engage deeply with the material while developing critical thinking and communication skills.

The ability to convey a message and communicate effectively and clearly is of the upmost importance at Wildflower Learning Collective. Regardless of the type of job one has, the ability to communicate eloquently and clearly is a marker for success. Students will learn and practice effective communication strategies as well as the ability to be respectful listeners. For students who are very uncomfortable with speaking in front of a group, this is a great first step in gaining familiarity and comfort in communicating in a group setting.

By doing just 10 minutes of grammar a few days a week, kids will learn how sentences fit together, which in turn helps with organizing ideas. Editing skills are built into this morning routine, teaching our kids to look at their own work, spot issues, and improve it. That habit- reviewing, adjusting, and refining- is a key part of critical thinking.
