We serve children ages 8-12 in a mixed age group setting. We provide student–teacher ratios averaging 12:1, with many parts of the day as low as 8:1, ensuring personalized attention for every student.
Each school year our age group will shift up, allowing our children to continue to learn and grow alongside each other. We feel learning in a mixed-age group can create a powerful learning environment. Instead of holding every child to the exact same developmental standard, a mixed group creates a more natural, flexible system—closer to how people actually learn outside school.
Wildflower Learning Collective families focus on teaching the three core fundamentals at home- reading, writing, and arithmetic. Within our classes, we explore History, Science, Debate, Public Speaking, as well as a variety of electives ranging from Art, Cooking, Foreign Language, and Physical Education.
All History and Science projects include both a hands-on component and a writing component, encouraging students to engage deeply with the material while developing critical thinking and communication skills.
